So - jacket potato topped with beans and cheese  ::)

Tonight will be stir fried turkey with hoisin sauce, stir fried veg (whatever I have!), soy braised cabbage, rice.

(The world weary veg from the fridge will join some stock and noodles for a lunchtime soup.  I think we are going to need something warm - it is drizzling miserably and my washing is out!!   >:()

HM tomato soup for lunch using roasted tomatoes and with the extra tomatoes I cooked, have a lamb rogan josh in slow cooker for tea.
Recipe used tinned tomatoes but my dad always used fresh tomatoes in his curries which were always absolutely delish. :)
As I have tons of tomatoes ripening finally, seems a good use of them aswell as lots frozen for sauces.

Home grown black beans cooked with peppers and chili topped with grated cheese, baked potato, sweetcorn and salsa with the very last of the greenhouse toms that have been ripening indoors.

I'm on my 3rd day of a heavy cold, and it is exploding head day, today!
So cuppa soups and toast for me - as and when I can stomach them..

Hope today is better.  Head full of cold and feeling like it may explode is never good  :(

Last night was the leftover spicy black bean stew.  Browned some cubes of pork, then added the beans.  All served over rice.

Tonight is chicken in some form as the Co-op had some heavily reduced yesterday and it would have been rude not to buy one  :D

Last night was birthday dinner by request from OH - bbq ribs, chips and salad!  A man of simple tastes.   :D

Late home tonight - so I suspect it will be via the takeaway.  Not a good couple of days for the waistline.   :(
