was in tesco yesterday and the plastic shell shape sand pits are on sale £6. i bought 2 to make a pond for the ducks i am going to get.
slowly slowly getting things together to keep duck.
oh no, another pair of leaky wellies!

The store at Sleaford also has them for £6 or £10 including play sand. Got my sandpits (for my future chocolate runner ducklings  :D) off freecycle  :D :D

I saw these in our local one a week or two ago although I think it was advertised as the 'deal of the week'.

I thought they would make an excellent dust bath for chickens!

Bought one last year to use as a pond up the lottie. works really well, had a bit of frogspawn from a neighbour at first and this year we had our own and have seen a lot of frogs ( usually leaping off my plot onto a neighbours)

If you bury it you will need to weight it down, after a day of heavy rain we found ours floating on top of a massive puddle
