Hi,

Just realised that the tiller/rotovator I bought a while back is a little low on oil.

It is a 4 stroke briggs & stratton.  I have never put oil in it since I've had it.

What oil do I need to put in it?

Sae30 is the stuff for the engine sump... but Sae20w50 can be a good alternative.

 More recent petrol car oil grades can tend to be a bit "thin" for older garden machinery...but for a small top up would be better than low oil.

It is good to get into a habit of checking before every run..especially on older machinery...they will go on for years if kept checked and topped up if required...but not long if very low/empty.!!
