Hi all, could someone tell me if it is ok to move blueberry bushes. have them planted on my allotment but would like to move them to a different place. Is this ok to do during winter

HI, I moved mine on 28th March this year and they are doing fine, even got fruit from them this year.

Blueberries aren't as deeply rooted as most fruits so a winter move is fine. Be sure to have the new spot ready to drop them right in. Suggest you water the empty hole very well before putting the shrub in.

Hi i went and had an look at my blueberrys today and the some of the ends have turned black.  About 3 or 4 inches of it.

Any ideas what this could be? should i cut the ends off??

Any advice would be good.

could be frost damage but I do not know, just a guess.

I get those black tips once in a while and yes, it's frost damage. Just snap them off carefully close to active growth area and they're fine. Just did that today.
