well our girls are settled and are 17 weeks old, but all they seem to eat are layers pellets, corn stuff and ants! ive put worms, spinach, breadcrumbs and poppy seeds (from lunchtimes pltes!!) oh and homegrown lettuce but theyve turned their noses up!!!
any ideas as to why?
im thinking that maybe they havent had this sort of food b4 and are not used to it?

It can take them a while to get used to other food, its quite possible they've never had anything else.  Our little Rosie who is nearly a year old turned her nose up at a big fat worm tonight!

If you keep trying in the evening every few days, they might remember to leave a bit of room for their treats  

Not too much because the pellets contain a complete balance and if they eat too much of something else on a regular basis, they might get low on vitamins or minerals. But ahndful od corn or some greens is a good thing late afternoon/evening.

If ours have pogged out in the day time they turn their beaks up all sorts of goodies!

Those big fat worms are a definite no no...............they hate them.

if mine get hold of a slug they put me in mind of american football players...all hunched up and running the gauntlet!!!
