Can garlic be grown between onion sets or do they take up a lot of room. Or where would the best place be to place to plant them and can I plant them now

They do take up a fair bit of room, in fact they grow bigger than onions so are not suitable for planting in between.

It's gettin very late to plant them now,  but nothing ventured and all that. I just carry on planting the garlic cloves as a continuation of my onions.
