African violet
« on: October 22, 2016, 22:25 »
So I took leaf cuttings from an African violet and left them for ages! and now 2 of them have little leaves growing from the bottom.

I'm sure I read that these should be removed from the original leaf, but I can't remember where I saw that.
Is that the correct thing to do or do I separate them and plant the new leaf with the old leaf, if you see what I
mean!

Don't want to damage them now as the original plants are in the compost bin!

Thanks
Elaine

No, leave the original leaf on if it seems healthy.  It will help the new plantlet.

Thank you Aunt Sally, I will pot them up as they are and hope for two new plants.

Cheers
