I got a job lot of cranberries cheap and wondered if anyone has a wine recipe for them?

I  have done this with other fruits but was told cranberries alone lacked body Muntjac so here is a recipe from a friend, I modified it a bit with the use of a microwave as I find this makes a good quick starter.

3 pounds cranberries,
fresh or frozen 1 pound raisins
3 pounds granulated sugar
1 1/4 teaspoon citric acid
1 tsp wine yeast
1 gallon water
1 teaspoon nutrients

Freeze then thaw the berries, put them in a sterile fermenting bin that has a lid. Get your potato masher and go to town mashing them up, add the raisins after chopping them up, add the sugar and pour the gallon of boiled water over them a kettle at a time stirring in the sugar until dissolved. Add the citric acid, nutrient and stir it in. Put the lid on and stir twice a day for two weeks. Strain into a demijohn and warm a mug full in the microwave in a sterile plastic jug, add the yeast to the jug and stir it a little, leave it for a few minutes then add to the demijohn fit an air lock and leave in a warm place to ferment out. Rack off when it starts to clear then every two or three weeks when a sediment builds up on the bottom.
I was told that this wine really benefits at least 18 months maturing time and after five years it is even better. You can substitute the raisins with a cup of grape concentrate.
