Door Bell
« on: November 15, 2022, 14:47 »
I have to buy a new door bell.  I can no longer hear the existing.  There are many to choose from, but should I be better to have the two receivers as plug  into a socket or batteries.   I don't need it to show be pics of who is there etc.   Thank,  Mrs Bouquet

You can probably just wire another chime (the bit that does ding dong) into your existing system and have it placed somewhere better for your to hear.

I got one of these

The plug in 'ding-dong is quite loud (for me anyway) plus you can clip the portable one onto yourself, or just keep it nearby, if you prefer ( I clip mine on when I'm out in the garden).
