Hypochondria is very serious - give him a medical dictionary to read  :D  ::)

The thought of it makes my blood run cold.

Another case of Covid locally this week I’m afraid. My neighbour at the plot was tired after digging and explained he now has long Covid. Very ironic he volunteered in the local vaccination centre for months with no problem then went to church and caught it due to an infected person singing next to him. He said five people got it due to this one individual attending church when he felt rough. Looks like I’m going to continue wearing a mask when I’m shopping even if it has only limited effectiveness.
Keep digging

Our daughter got a text from the NHS to say she'd been in close contact with someone who had covid. It was an outdoor meeting and apparently 3 people had it! Lots of people don't even feel ill so don't know until they test..
Anyway, I'm afraid we're working on the basis that if we get it, we get it.

I still wear a mask when in the supermarket, and  use the santisers for the trolley and my hands.  I use the hand santiser when I leave.  So far I have escaped Covid.     Mrs Bouquet

Hello my mums just got a Covid testing kit I'm  wary of letting her use it as it's made in china,as far as I know she hasn't had Covid she was tested every other day in hospital over Christmas never tested positive ,is she going to catch it from this testing kit as they dont seem to be made in sterile conditions    jezza

Most (all?) of the NHS testing kits have been made in China, and my family have used a kit often and we're all still alive and I haven't caught it either  :)

Been left with no appetite whatsoever which has resulted in the loss of half a stone.

I could do with that - if you could bottle it, you'd make a fortune!

Alas I have succumbed.  We went to the Isle of Man to see my father in law. After TT the case numbers were highest in U.K. Think I got it having to sit in the dog lounge (yes we took our dog) with a guy coughing every 30 seconds for four hours on the ferry back. Way behind on the plot and now feel very rubbish!
