Glad you appear to be on the mend now Wighty.
Several years ago on holiday in Tuscany, I got a calf cramp in the middle of the night - I clutched it, rolled over trying to suppress the cry of pain, and clearly not aware I was in a single bed rather than a double, fell off onto the tiled floor and bashed my toes.
Very pretty rainbow colours for the rest of the holiday, but no permanent damage apparently.
