Every single day, at the very least to pick some green stuff for our hens back home and check everything's OK.

at this time of year Mon-Fri from 4pm till sun starts to set; Saturday all day; Sunday Mornings; and all visits are dependent upon if it is raining or not

Ahhh how I'd love to go to my plot every day, but I work full time so not to be. Although I generally go most Saturdays for a 3/4hr stint, and now the nights are lighter I can cycle over a couple of evenings a week. My plot isn't as well weeded as some, but what weeds I have (apart from the prehistoric horror that is mare's tail!!) are annuals and quickly dealt with. This is my first full season on my allotment and so far, fingers crossed, I've got everything planted I should have and all growing reasonably well, although carrots are a bit slow! :)
Dangerous with a trowel!

4-5 times a week for at least 2-3 hrs longer if possible, this is a busy time right now so it may slow down as the allotment gets full and theres just weeding to do.

About 10 hours a week is all I have spare, working full time and so on. Spend most of the day at work wishin I was on my plot  :(

My plot is five miles away and we are not allowed to have a shed.
My back garden is the nursery and plants are taken to the plot as they become ready.
Plan to visit plot at least twice a week but the weather is the determinator. I am usually there for at least four hours a time.

I'm not allowed a shed either, but I live pretty close to the site so it's not really a problem for me.  I did notice that someone a few plots away from mine had built a cunning solution, though - three shorts sides and a sloping roof, not enough to store tools, but just big enough to sit under.  There's a shelf for small odds and ends and a cheap plastic chair.  It's been there for at least two months before and after the last committee meeting, so I'm guessing it counts as 'not a shed'!

It's my first year, so I'm still finding out how much time I'll need to spend there.  A morning or afternoon at the weekend plus 1-2 hours spread over weekday evenings is what I'm doing at the moment.  I've got a pretty small plot, though.

we tend to spend 3 to 4 hours either on a Saturday or Sunday, or both if we've got nothing better to do!  Then a couple of times in the week in the evenings, popped down there last night to clear a bit of space to sow some swede, gonna put that in tonight  :)

twice a day during the week 15mins before work and then 1-2 hrs (till it gets dark) after work, then pretty much all day at the weekends.
