Title: Call duck ducklings newbie

Hi I am new to duck keeping. I got a pair of apricot calls and she laid in the first week of getting them. I know have 6 ducklings that are 3.5 weeks old now and their feathers are now coming through. My question is about their colours. I thought they would all be apricot ducks. 3 are yellow with yellow bills/feet and 3 are dark striped with brown bills and feet. When will they be their true colour and do 2 apricots nowt make apricot ducklings? Also when can they leave mum?

Also one has like a cotton ball on the back of its head.

Hi, I have no idea about the colouring but I think ducks can 'hold' sperm so if your female was around other males then chances are he's not the only daddy.. There are specific websites/associations for call ducks where you may get a better answer on colourings
