After reading somewhere on the net, I now use 2 ltr plastic pop bottles. After the initial fermentation has finished, I transfer the brew into the bottles and prime each one with a teaspoon of sugar, after two weeks or when the beer is clear I then syphon off into another bottle leaving the sediment behind. The finished beer is then stored a month before drinking.
This leaves the beer clear with no sediment in the bottle and IMO a better pint then using barrels.
I used to work in a helium gas factory, but I walked out, no one talks to me like that.
