New bike shed/ tool shed build
« on: June 26, 2012, 16:44 »
Got a bit of a project sometime this year, as above I am to build a new cycle shed with a new tool shed attached.
So my thoughts would be to build the frame work for the floor and then build each panel seperate as in a flat pack style and join the lot from inside.

One wall will be against the brick outbuilding and the long wall will be running along the fence see diagram....

Do we agree or is there a better of doing it?

I take it you mean building the floor base for the two areas in one unit? That's pretty much how I'd start. Just  to be controversial, I think I might build the rear wall as two units and hoist it up, and then fit the uprights for the rest and build in situ

edit for bed spooling ::)
