Title: Name the berry/plant

We have lots of these leading up to the plots ( blackberries one side and these the other). The bushes are about 6-7ft tall and I just wondered what they were. I am guessing the berries are not edible although the birds are loving splatting them all over my plot!

Looks like laurel. Don't eat the berries!

I'm not intending to - I just wondered what the birds were splatting everywhere. My plot is very purple coloured :)

 Yes definitely Laurel , we've one in the back garden .
