hi .. there is some lovely honeysuckle growing on my way to my allotment
I would like to take a cutting and grow some up my shed   
how do i do this
what is the best way to take a honeysuckle cutting and grow it on

The soft growth usually roots anywhere it touches the earth. Have a look around you can usually find a piece that has rooted itself
Pull it up with some roots and plant it where you want it ...easy peasey, and just what I did earlier this year

I remeber liberating a cutting  overhanging a garden that I walked the dog past, stuck it in a milk bottle on the widow ledge and it put out plenty of root so planted it and it has done really well.
You can layer it easily as well.

i had a look around the base .. but could see no shoots
so i'll take a cutting , and try putting it in compost in a pot at home
ans see what happens ..
