I've been looking around the net and cannot find clear information regarding storing white turnips.

Does anyone have advice..and can they be frozen?

Does anyone know a way to store turnips without freezing them? I am runningnout or freezer space. CC

You can store them in a box, layered in very slightly damp sand.  (Using completely dry sand seems to dry them out and cause them to shrivel a bit.)  They kept well for quite a while, but in the end we forgot about them (they were in a shed) and mice tunnelled into the box and ate them!  I imagine you could clamp them like carrots as well.
