Title: chicken feed

 :nowink: hi just wondring if should keep feeding my chickens on corn for a while during the winter  or should i feed  them on layers pellets ....many thanks...phil-c

Always layers pellets phil!  Corn is just for now and again treats, no goodness in it for the hens.

I agree - layers at all time even when theyt are not laying. They need to build up their reserves and you don't know when they will come back into lay.

Ours are on organic layers pellets all year, with corn as a treat.  :)
