spring onions

Hello All, just bought two packs of spring onion seedlings from the garden centre... if I plant then now, when will they be ready? Do they overwinter or not.....haven't grown the wee fellas before, so am a wee bit confused..thanx, DB

Lisbon.... havent seen them before!

White Lisbon comes in a Winter Hardy variety AND a non-winter hardy.

What does it say about planting on the packet ?

Over wintering is the only way i manage to grow any spring onions!I found a few white lisbons when clearing some flowers,they had just carried on growing into beautiful white 2" bulbs!
