Title: Greenhouse
Post by: Snap Dragon on March 20, 2008, 23:31
I'm still making my mind up about greenhouses!

I had pretty much sold myself on the Palram polycarb one (mainly because of the safety aspect as my girls will be on the plot) but with the recent winds I'm not too sure it would last on the lottie!  :?

I've been searching the net and have found the following offer for £324...

Do you think this is a good deal? I was originally hoping to get a 6x8 and was probaby going to spend around £300 to 350 on it. Is it worth spending the extra £99 for the toughened glass?

What do you think?   (http://bestsmileys.com/thinking/5.gif)

If you'll have your kiddies regularly at the allotment, it would probably be worth the extra money for toughened glass. It also sounds like the latter is more fixed into the framing. If the kids are there only on occasion then it's a lot extra.
