My two girls (i'm assuming it is both of them) left us a lovely little gift in the shape of two TINY eggs!

They don't even fill an egg cup! lol My eldest had the joy of picking them up (as i was rushing out the door shortly after finding them) and she has claimed them for breakfast!

I must say they are perfect in shape/colour etc and totally smooth - amazing what nature can create.

(a lovely bit of joy after seeing the rats in our run today).

I think that puts Clara at 27 weeks - if she really was 18 weeks when we got her.  I'm sure Sunshine is a little big younger though - don't think she's going to lay for a few more weeks yet  :roll:

my daughter was planning boiled eggs till we put them in an egg cup! lol they are TINY! lol she's going to have them scrambled on toast.. hope they lay again tomorrow or i won't get a look in!

lol i know! same with our two. honestly they are so cute! And so perfect and I'm a proud mummy! lol
I said to my hubby, the hay that is in their house, was flat till yesterday.. I noticed it was 'nest shaped' but didn't dare hope too much.. guess they were getting ready.

Thanks nats.. hope you're not waiting long.. for the first time in my life i've just held a naturally warm egg! Scarlet has laid this morning.. you'll be amazed how tiny they are!

Hubby is thinking that only one is laying but we'll see.. i did say it's unusual but not impossible for them to lay 2 eggs.

I have given Shimmer strict instructions to follow suit!

you are likely very right! They do feel a bit like treasure! a gift from the girls to us. Funny, never had any feelings for an egg before!

Yeah my daughter's into '3 egg omlettes' since the girls started laying and they have to work very hard to keep up with the demand!  Someone bought around a 15 egg egg box for me the other day and I thought 'Youve got to be kidding'!  I might show it to me chicks and get the pressure on early!

Congratulations Porfor.  I was in a meeting the day mine first started laying and had to show everyone the picture my OH sent through of the eggs.  It's SO exciting.

I'm also loving the fact that my kids now have boiled eggs for breakie every morning.  Much more healthy than Chocolate Wheetoes, I'm thinking.
