OK then, I wasn't certain how to take it, what you meant. As further up I'm also trying to grow some lentils this year, hopefully.

I shall report if it happens.

When I first got my plot, I often wondered how to fit round the crop rotation idea too ... I was a bit of a fussy eater and didn't like cabbage, caulis, sprouts, and I wasn't too fussed about broccoli, radish, turnips or swede, and never tasted kale.  As long as you dig in stuff to improve soil fertility, it didn't really matter.

However, over time I would grew just a few to see if I could, and then realised what I had been missing out on (but I still don't like cauliflower or kale) although the small amount I grow probably doesn't cover a true crop rotation.  However, I have been growing a mustard green manure especially prior to planting potatoes so put that in my crop rotation plan
