Frontline spray
« on: May 16, 2012, 18:44 »
Can someone tell me please which I should get for my bantams. do I get general dog/cat or do I go for kitten one?
also when I spray them, where actually do I put it on? Does it go on the back of the necks or do I spray it all over their bodies?
does it actually kill red mites? Or am I using it as a preventative against any infestations as in dogs?
Many thanks
Anne

my vet prescribes the cat/dog spray for my chickens. You simply part the feathers between the shoulder blades and give a quick squirt.
It is to kill mites and lice but not redmites as they don't live on the birds - they live and sleep in the coop only going on the bird to feed.
Staffies are softer than you think.
