Title: "Z" Clips.

I need to make some "Z" clips because the ones i have are a little bit short. Anyone got any ideas ? Would a drinks can cut open and then cut to size be strong enough ?

yes or sheet lead is another thing you can use

Thanks for the offer  :D  But i do have some. The reason why i need to make some is because the greenhouse i am glazing came with half a dozen different sizes of glass panes and it has been a bit of a nightmare working it out. I have glazed the front, back, and the sides and am left with two different sizes for the roof, now they will only fit together if i use extra long "Z" clips  :(   Hopefully using Z's cut from cans will work :)
