Cape Cod Weeder.
« on: March 16, 2011, 21:20 »
At last I have my Christmas present from my son (don't ask  ::)) I chose it instead of the Japanese Razor Hoe he was trying to find me. It looks good and feels good but my husband wants to sharpen it like he does my hoe but I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm really pleased with it. I reckon it will soon be my favourite tool after the short handled cultivator which I use all the time.

I'm not sure how to post a picture yet but this should link to the web page.
Anyway, I tried it after work today and it's a really nice tool to use. I can see myself just slicing through the weeds on the allotment this year!

That looks handy. I would sharpen it as you would a normal hoe.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
