Title: Tight weeder...
Post by: Growster... on May 04, 2012, 06:31
Now seedlings are showing here and there, the first weeding is important, and for what it's worth, one of these tools are great for getting up as close as you dare...

I've actually put a different handle on, which makes it about a foot in length, (The old one rotted away, and there was a nice piece of yew lying around...)!

Is that the normal name that tool goes by, Growster? Just in case anyone wanted to buy one.. :)

Good point Argyllie - it's a paint scraper actually, which is used on window frames and small bits where a wide flat scraper won't fit...

I thought of calling it a Tie Tweeder, but that may mean something else North of the border...;0)

I googled the name you've given it ;) and this weeding hoe was the nearest I could find

Yes, isn't that the name of the contraption they use to put the pattern on woollen neck apparel. ;) Well spotted! :D
