Ahhh! Not albino, from the dark eyes .... just very pale! A heifer? Oh - duh! just noticed the name .... sorry!
(I wouldn't want to argue with dad! However cuddly he appears ... :D)
-
Oh Spana, she is beautiful. What a real suprise for you.
-
What a smasher, so sweet :)
-
How sweet is that, what a cutie ;)
-
Amazing, what a little beauty. You going to keep her? :)
-
. You going to keep her? :)
It depends on if we change the bull in the next 3 years :)But at the moment I have no plans to sell her :)
Mum needed a bit of help calving so we brought her in from the fields into the first barn that was easy. It didn't have fresh straw on the floor which is why Daisy looks slightly grubby ::) But at the time mum was in trouble and she knew it, so clean straw wasn't the first thing on our minds ::)
The calf is just beautiful, I cant stop looking at her  We are both gob smacked, would never have thought of the calf being pure white. I'm so please OH got her out alive :)

Looking cuter by the hour  Think shes going to be one of those little girls who cant stay clean for a minute

Thank you so much for that link Aunt sally, cant wait to show it to OH. The chap in the interview seemed as astounded as we are  We just cant stop looking at her
But on top of her looking so lovely we think she is the best Highland calf her dad has ever produced :D
Mum is the oldest cow on the farm, 15 going on 16 and is the best mother ever :)

Here's another. (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/7557952/Exceptional-white-Highland-calf-born-in-brown-litter.html) Equally stunned. But something has been nagging at the back of my skull .... and I have finally remembered the hook (you dont need the story why I ended up here! - normally cattle are not my thing) and found it - check this (http://www.highlandcattlesociety.com/shows_sales/wanted.aspx) - in the list there is a white highland bull from cornwall - you might know the breeder?
-
Thanks madcat, we dont know the breeder of the white bull but reconise the fold name, he's very nice. :)
Edited to add
Oh , just looked further down the for sale list you posted and saw the ad you must have meant madcat. Yes we do know the breeder well, hes just a few miles from us. In fact our present bull came from him. :)
I remember the bull he has for sale being born, his mum rejected him and he hand reared him. :)

I have never seen anything as adorable in my life, now I must stop looking before I decide I need one. :tongue2:
