Things are growing, plus yet another question
« on: January 24, 2008, 15:45 »
I've just got back from doing some assessing in Lincolnshire to find that my spuds have started to chit. :D

Following some great advice on here, my onion seeds have slowed down their growth now that I have moved them to a colder place. Can someone advise me if it might be safe to put them into my outside mini greenhouse now that they have got used to a cooler environment? I will keep them on the uppermost shelves to help protect from frost.

I'm worried about doing the wrong thing and losing them (so much so that I've been contemplating buying some sets, just in case)
Lynne.

So much to do, but so little time.

I am guessing that it may still be a bit risky if put outside, more so at night, I put my leeks and spring onions outside during the day but bring them in at night, we could still get some very cold nights so unless you have a little heater in the mini G then I would bring them in at night untill it warms up a little.
