Just went outside and in the West, I saw a large crescent moon and directly above it -  a very bright Venus

It looks lovely - but think it's going to be a cold night though..

It looks lovely - but think it's going to be a cold night though..

My son spotted that this evening, he's excited as he's been able to view venus with his Christmas telescope present.

Apparently Venus is extra bright at the moment 

It's been lovely keeping an eye on it as I cycle home from work.
