Title: Compost heap worms.
Post by: Kleftiwallah on February 07, 2020, 15:26
How do0 I remove my compost heap worms from the compost before riddling it?  Is it just a case of patiently picking them out of the riddle?

Cheers,  Tony.

Ideally they will move on to unrotted compost leaving you to harvest the finished product, otherwise just use it & they find their way back, bit like homing pigeons lol except for those that climb up into my brassicas 😜

Hi ,I agree they will come back I have never picked them out and have always had worms(not me the compost). Also avoid putting citrus waste peelings etc worms don't like them and will abandon the heap.
