Title: white spots on lemon tree leaves
Post by: suesowsseed on February 15, 2009, 17:47
Hi,

I bought my parents a hardy lemon tree which they have in a pot in their conservatory at the moment.  Its been potted into fresh compost and has some new leaves appearing but the older leaves have developed small white spots on them.  There is nothing lurking on the underside of the leaves. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this?
They have an orange tree too but that seems fine.

Could it be water spots - are they misting the leaves?

Hi Yorkie 1,

I'm not sure if they are misting them, I will ask though.  If they are I am sure they will be misting the orange tree too which is standing next to the lemon, but the orange doesn't seem to be affected. The spots are quite small, like the top of pin head and there is some discolouration to the edges of the leaves too.
