We had a frost Tuesday night, Couldn't get to the plot yesterday but went up this afternoon and there was no damage to my potatoes. Would they grow if there was frost damage to the leaves, Oh Learned ones? :D

Probably not. Spuds are cold sensitive and even a light frost will take down the plant. newly emerging ones might miss a light frost, but if you're expecting more frost, lay some fleece over the bed and secure with some rocks, etc. That'll keep off frost yet let in light and water.

Protect plants as Trillium says, when frosts are forecast.

But you would notice, if there was frost damage to the foliage, alarming black and brown burns these are. :wink:

They live through it, as roots are well. Sets them back of course.
