Title: First time out for the "5 Week old" Chicks

I lwet my 5 week old chicks out in the garden yesterday.  Well, I hoofed the cage outside and opened the door.
Bluebell (The Speckledy) quite liked grass, for eating, not standing on and would peck at it from inside the cage.  The rest would just charge back into the cage as soon as we let go of them.
But, they did get half an hour in the sun.

dont worry they will get used to the scary grass  :lol:

my chicks are a similar age and cant wait to see them outside!

It was warmer outside than in, so we thought we might as well try them for a bit, and introduce them to the neighbours a little bit as well......

Ha ha I bet it was funny to watch bless them  :) they'll soon want to be running on the grass all the time!
