Title: Planting mini-pop sweetcorn.
Post by: Goosegirl on April 19, 2024, 08:55
All mine germinated and are now in the greenhouse. They're all looking good and am loath to nip one out of each pot. Can I plant them as they are or should I try separating them? What spacings should these little ones have?

I'd hedge my bets, by tipping a few out to see if the roots are all tangled up, or if it's easy to separate them.
Then you'll know what to do with the rest....

It's also not too late to sow some more! You might need to if you want to harvest later into the season. I used to sow them about now and was harvesting in August.

Regarding spacing, once in the ground 30cm apart is fine-you can cram in these mini ones.
