bug a few rocket tatties  some have little white  spots on them   any ideas

Some of mine had little white spots on them as well.  Also others had brownish patches and looked a bit unappetising.  I grew them in bags and sowed them in February and they were in the greenhouse until the weather picked up.  I wasn't that bothered by these problems too much as I wasn't greatly impressed with them and I'll not be growing them again.  They weren't so great from a flavour perspective and when I sautéed the left over boiled potatoes they were soft not crispy.

I'm glad I'm into pentland javelin now.

Certainly didn't look that nice.  They went into the compost.

No need to compost in future - they're perfectly edible

I agree on both points wet soil is the reason but they are sill edible but may not store as well as if they were in drier conditions

The white spots are swollen lenticils and are usual in early potatoes. Brown spots probably due to wet.
