Thats what I do when I get new chooks (good job OH doesn't read this page ), I put them in the shed and tell him I've had them for weeks. Don't think he believes me but by then it's too late I've already get them  :D
Staffies are softer than you think.

Thought I'd share my discovery of chicken magnets. Just bumped into them on ebay under "chicken fridge magnets". An artist called Philip Knaggs has done a series of 32 chickens and lots of others including ducks. I really liked his style and bought 13 (!) but 3 were free. They're only printed on card and laminated but the magnets are good and strong. He's really friendly if you contact him too.....
I'm thinking of getting him to quote for painting my girls from a photo!  I've really got this chicken bug bad.....

As a 'new' chicken keeper, I am expecting Santa to bring me all kinds of chickeny stuff this year!  My daughter is 13 next week, she wants a cake in the shape of a chicken - will deffo have to post a pic of that when I get it made.  Chickenitus is spreading in our household   :D
