well done it looks great. My hens will also be having a run soon - I have got so fed up with them laying their eggs in the fields rather than where i can find them  ::).
Staffies are softer than you think.

Yes but haven't decided on the structure yet.  Have some coroline sheets but will need some clear ones as well to let light in because of its position in the garden.  We might have to put a temporary roof covering so it will be ready in time for our hols.

Let me know if you need any of the dimensions joyfull.

We are going to have access to the nest boxes from outside the run (design not yet finalised).  We will have 3 separated areas so we can have broodies or ill birds on their own.  When not in use they will be able to access each area with internal pop holes and an external one for them to freerange under supervision.

That was for the many tea and design consultation breaks needed during construction j00les.   :tongue2:  The rest of the garden looks like a cross between scrap yard, building site, unfinished allotment and poultry farm!

If you fancy a bit of chook sitting at the same time you are welcome.

Thanks for the nice comments, dreading deciding on the roof structure and the design of the nest boxes (wanting to combine access from 2 runs for the front nest box).

I have used the heavy duty perspex that security firms use on church window etc. to stop the windows being broken. lets in lots of light and the fox would need an angle grinder to get in

We will have to have corrugated to match the profile of the coroline or it will be an even bigger design headache.  Have just tried to order some of the roofing materials online (ridges and fixings) and they are out of stock, argh!!   They have them in B & Q but the fixings work out at a ridiculous price being in packs of 20 rather than a bulk of 400.  Tried Screwfix and their website is under maintenance.   >:(
