Spuds from the garage
« on: January 31, 2012, 21:10 »
My wife was complaining that the Wilja potatoes that I bought a sack of the other day from the garage were very small. On closer inspection most of them are perfect hens egg size for planting as seed potatoes.Should I dare?

If want to run the risk of introducing diseases to your plot, instead of buying certified seed spuds - go ahead!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Don't risk garage potatoes!
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

He didn't grow them. He bought them from a garage.
