Hi I was wondering if I could chit my spuds in the Polytunnel it's 25c during the day and 10c at night I'd be covering them incase of frost, do you think 25c would be to high for them many thanks Ricky

Reasonable light and no frost are the two main requirements for chitting - 25C is a bit warmer than the ideal, and the tubers will shrivel a bit more than they would at a lower temperature, but it's getting towards planting time anyway so that won't matter too much.

TBH I don't know how high a temperature seed potatoes can withstand, but I'd be looking for somewhere a bit cooler if the maximum went over 30C.

I've got mine in egg-boxes sat by the patio doors in our extension room which is about 15-18C.
