Apart from the overwinter onions, garlic and shallots, my plot is now looking rather bare having lifted the last of the swedes and beetroots yesterday... except for a row of rainbow chard which looks as good as it did in the height of summer.
Why aren't the supermarket shelves full of this stuff?
It's versatile, fast growing, really tasty, winter hardy, pest and disease free and it looks great too. Showing no signs of going to flower, it looks like it's going to go on and on. Wonderful stuff.
