Is there time to plant anything now ? Or am i just being greedy ?? :-))

I've split this off Simbara as I think its a good topic on its own  :)

There are overwintering onions, shallots and garlic in the shops now you could plant.  You could also pick up spring cabbage plants.

For sowing, there are the oriental greens and salad leaves which could still do OK with a bit of weather protection.  You can also sow broad beans later on in the year.

I think I mentioned growing winter cauliflowers but didn't seem to get any response? so if you have a greenhouse or poly tunnel you could try growing some overwintering cauliflowers [see topic for varieties]
suggested sowing time October

you could also grow [autumn] onion sets and shallots as suggested to overwinter and i'm also growing several varieties of spring onions in moduls to overwinter for planting out in spring

As the soil is still warm you can try sowing kale which should grow enough to over-winter.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
