I was feeling quite depressed about my entire crop of leek going to seed and the complete absence of any replacement plug plants on line. Then good luck came my way. I called into a small local nursery to ask the owner,, who I know quite well, for advice about polytunnel repairs. We chatted away about the season's highs and lows and I happened to mention my leek failures. No problem said he leading me to another greenhouse where he had, in his words, over 1000 unsold leek plants. Bought approximately 100 for a fiver. Quite made my day
