Is it too early to start germinating my courgette seeds inside?

The packet contains 12 seeds and I really only need 6 plants. I was thinking of sewing 6 of them with the intention of planting them outside at the end of April.  If we have a late frost I can sew the other 6.

Or am I just getting carried away by the thought that spring has arrived......

I would say no need to plant them until the end of April, they come up like weeds so you won't need to have them hanging around for long once they are in.

6 plants will give so many courgettes the neighbours will hate you after the first week of giving them away!
