Hi,
I have just added two new hens to my flock. One of them is a Tuftybar. It is a cross between a Araucana and a Legbar.
I was just wondering if other readers have had one. I am expecting her friend who is the same age but a Daisybelle breed to start laying soon but the Tuftybar is not very red on her comb and wattles yet so maybe she will be a bit later than the other new chicken?
She is a beautiful chicken and a lovely character. I have read that Araucana take about 18 months to mature. Hope I don't have to wait that long? She is about 22 weeks old now.
Can't wait to see my first blue egg!
