Bantam Orpingtons Hens or Cockerels?
« on: July 25, 2015, 09:00 »
Hi All

I am looking for some confirmation in the sex of my 10 week growers, they are bantam orpingtons apart from one who is a pekin frizzle.

I am pretty sure I have 2 black/silver birchin cockerels and the rest are hens. I have found somewhere to take the Cockerels but need to double check that I am right before I uproot them.

Thanks in advance of your help.

I agree, however another way to check is to look at the neck feathers on both sexes - are any of them pointed or are they all rounded at the ends.
Staffies are softer than you think.
