feeding roots
« on: April 26, 2015, 07:49 »
               Morning All

I should, hopefully, be sowing some carrots and parsnips soon, and as I have'nt
manured that bed, just what do you feed them with? Any advice will be warmly
                   received.
keep on digging

They grow deep and if the soil is in good heart, there is plenty of nourishment for them already.

If you think your soil is on the poor side, then a dash of Blood, Fish & Bone raked gently between the rows and watered in would do no harm
