I think this is a brilliant idea and would have bought some if the out-of-date sherbet containers hadn't been there to use

i use the balls and they are perfect and re using last years too - birghten up the plot no end too

I've used balls on sticks for a few years now.  Yes, they don't last more than a couple of years due to UVA breakdown.  But, they are cheap to buy and are something a bit different and FUN.

I did that too and the look absolutely great.  For about a week.  Then they turn light pink and eventually white 

Still look good though, just not as bright!  Excellent idea which I got from Ice originally and very pleased.
