Title: Onion from seed

Quick question to the onion from seed growing experts out there. Starting some onion seed in propagator this week, can the seedlings go into an unheated greenhouse in February once established?

In my opinion, they are better out of the high heat once they sprout.  It's the light level that is important to stop them getting leggy, but they do need to be kept frost free so if your unheated greenhouse is easily accessible and you could give them extra protection if necessary then I think it would be fine.

Thanks mjg, would it be ok to trim them if they went leggy?
