Hello,
First time on here,
I Have planted my Kelsae onion seedlings out in raised bed today I have planted them 12" apart now someone as told me they should 20" apart have I planted them close Thank you

Hi Mary and welcome  :)

With the giant onion types, the more space you give them, the bigger they get.  You should be fine with your spacing, unless you are after really mammoth onions to show.

The only reason to plant them further apart, I think, would be if you were trying to grow giant onions for exhibition. Snap NS
